This regional energy grid operator employs more than 3,000 mechanics and installers who connect and disconnect many households and businesses from the energy grid every day. Node1 has built a smart app that takes some of the work preparation out of the hands of the office support staff for this work.

With the help of artificial intelligence ("object recognition"), the app reads the relevant instruction plan -for example, the location of the district box and the type of connection- for each connection or disconnection order and uses it to automatically complete the work preparation form in the relevant business application. This saves many hours of preparation work in the office every day and also reduces errors.
